| In 1974, Amtrak was kicked out of the L&N station by the railroad. They had plans to sell the station and land to a developer so Morris Towers could be built. It never happened and Amtrak has spent the next 40 years in the under track area which was behind the 1960s building sandwiched between that building and and Sugar trucking company. (I know this is a small picture, Ill post a larger one when I can find it) |
