| In 2007, the 1960s station and parking lot had been bought by the City of Birmingham and the station building was demolished to make room for the new station. The Sugar transloading companyy moved out in 2011. Finally, the passenger station was once again only a passenger station,, although it seems to be only a hole in the wall. |
