| While a new station is being built in Birmingham, the Zepplin Mooring Mast on the Thomas Jefferson Hotel is being restored 3 blocks away. (Talk about intermodal!) The Hotel, Later the Cabana Hotel, was finished in 1929. No Zepplins were known to have ever docked there. The Hotel, after being closed for about 30 years, is being rebuilt as apartments. The Mooring Mast will be lite at night. |
